Maryland Guitar Academy Charity Raffle – Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

  • The Maryland Guitar Academy Charity Raffle (“Raffle”) is open to anyone who completes the sign-up form located on our website.
  • Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.

2. Sign-Up Process:

  • To enter the Raffle, individuals must complete the sign-up form, which is accessible on our website.
  • Participation is free and does not require a purchase or donation.

3. Prize and Drawing:

  • The Raffle will have two grand prizes: an acoustic guitar and one month of guitar lessons.
  • Winners will be selected at random following the conclusion of the St. Jude’s Fundraiser Damascus Block Party on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
  • One person cannot win both the guitar and the month of lessons.

4. Winner Notification:

  • Winners will be notified via email or phone within a reasonable timeframe following the drawing.
  • Winners will be provided with instructions on how to claim their prize.

5. Prize Redemption:

  • The winner of the guitar must pick it up from the Maryland Guitar Academy Studio located on Wildcat Rd in Gaithersburg.
  • The free month of lessons must be redeemed and taken by December 31, 2023.

6. Contact Preferences:

  • By entering the Raffle, you agree to allow Maryland Guitar Academy to contact you regarding the Raffle prizes, as well as information about services, promotions, and offers provided by Maryland Guitar Academy. We may contact you via email, text message, or phone call. You have the option to opt out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in our messages or by contacting us directly. Your privacy and preferences are important to us, and we respect your choices regarding communication.

7. Winner Contact and Selection:

  • Upon selecting winners, we will make reasonable efforts to contact them via phone, text message, and email within a reasonable timeframe.
  • If a selected winner does not respond within a 72-hour period of our initial contact attempts, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner through a random drawing.
  • We encourage all participants to regularly check their provided contact information during the specified contact period to ensure they do not miss any notifications.

8. Incomplete or Incorrect Contact Information:

  • Participants are responsible for providing accurate and complete contact information.
  • In the event that the contact information provided by a selected winner is found to be incomplete or incorrect, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner through a random drawing.
  • It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that their provided contact information is accurate and up-to-date.

9. Publicity and Promotion:

  • Participants agree to have their names and likeness used for promotional purposes related to the Raffle and the charitable event.

  • Any disputes or concerns related to the Raffle will be resolved in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
